• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Cannot Find Jetways Objects Using MCX

I've just recently purchased an airport scenery, West Palm Beach International. I've tried to use the jetways using the Ctrl+J key but they won't move. They must be static jetways. So, I thought I would remove the jetways in this scenery and add the GSX jetways instead. But I will have to delete the scenery jetways first. The problem is that I cannot find an mdl nor a bgl object file that contains these jetways. I've checked every bgl file in the Scnery folder and there is no jetway object file. They appear in the P3Dv4 flight simulator but there's no jetway object file nor mdl file. So where are the jetways coming from? There is a text file that says' "Generated With Library Maker." But what is a Library Maker and where is it? I've googled Library Maker but it only populates Library Creator XML. I've tried ADE and still there are no Jetways in ADE. Those jetways have to be coming from somewhere. Where else can I search to find the jetway file since there is no mdl file nor a bgl object file.

They might be default objects of course, but then you would expect to find placement information for them in a BGL file.
 
If they are a default object, if you delete them they will be deleted around the world. Better to just delete their placement information.
 
It always makes more sense to remove the placement if you can.

I'm not sure if they're default or not. But I'll delete the placement just to be on the safe side. I tried to move the jetway using the Ctrl+J keys but they would not do anything. They must be static. I usually use SODE or GSX jetways.
