Can't find bglcomp.exe

Sorry about the newbee question, but I'm having difficulty finding the compiler. I've installed the SDK, anb FSDS but when attempting to compile my first project, FSDS can't find the compiler. I've searched files and folders for bglcomp.exe, but the search comes up with no results. Is there something I need to set for the SDK?
Thanks

So in your SDK installation you have a folder called ..\Environment Kit\Bgl Compiler Kit\ and that contains BglComp.exe?

Also are you sayinjg the FSDS can't find it? I know very little about FSDS but presumably you have to tell it where BglComp is? Also does the version you have work with the FSX SDK?

I look in the environmental kit/BGL folder and I have a file called BGLScan.exe and BGLComp.xsd, but no BGLComp.exe. I've heard that this BGLComp.exe file should be located in the environmental kit/BGL folder, but it's not there. Should I do a reinstall or is there a service pack missing for the SDK?

Oh and yes, FSDS is supposed to work with the bgl compiler provided in the SDK according to waht is stated in the help file.

If you have no BglComp.exe installed in the Bgl Compiler SDK folder then the SDK is not properly installed. Can I ask that you are showing extensions in you File Explorer?

Thanks Jon. I did a reinstall for the SDK and now the BGLcomp.exe is showing in the proper file. I'll check to see if everything is working.

Jon,
Just to follow up, I tried compiling a scenery object and everything worked fine. Before the reinstall of the SDK, FSDS was indicating that it could not find the BGLComp.exe. Since the reinstall everything worked and I located the object in FSX.
Thanks again
