• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v4 Cant remove 2 markers

Hi all,
I have a problem that I cannot find a solution for.
P3Dv4 contains 2 markers on the runway that have to be removed.
I have already looked up but cannot find anything immediately.
How do I get rid of these 2 lines?

Don't know about P3D, but in FSX one usually unticks the box for the Runway/Markings/Touchdown

I checked the settings again, but they were correct.
Btw, P3Dv4 and FSX are the same in ADE.
In the picture you can see what the problem is.

Ah!! ok Peter,
so what is happening the Touchdown markings do not show in ADE but show up in the Sim,
The textures look slightly different which may be normal in P3D, so just make sure the Sim is "Not" reading another file (2 files for the same airport) hidden somewhere
the next thing we may need the ad4 file
 
Sorry for the late response but I went looking for a second file. I have an addon Belgium 2012 photoreal and it indeed contained an EBFS file. I have deleted this file. I also deleted the following file in P3Dv4: 'Lockheed Martin \ Prepar3D v4 \ scenery \ 0601 \ scenery \ APX49140.bgl'. However, I keep seeing my Touchdown markings. Is there any other solution? Thx Peter.
 
Deleting a stock file is extremely dangerous - most of then contain many airports and other scenery elements. It is absolutely not encouraged In the case of the file you mention there are getting on for 100 airports in there which will be gone from the sim
 
Thanks scruffyduck. I have restored this stock file. Fortunately I had a backup of it. I am now looking further for a solution. Thx Peter.
