• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX Cessna 402B FSX

Ha

Looking at those images super-imposed over the runway, before I realized it was an image, Im thinking 'How did they get those awesome looking runway textures....?'

The cessna looks very nice, btw.... :D

Still here ... Working on the vc and coding of instruments... Exterior modeling finished and animations done.. Will update with beta release in February. Ew

He's away from home right now and will be back sometime soon, and then work continues. (according to a post on hovercontrol's forums)

Bit off topics Highes, butmwas it you that was working on the S-61?

I was, but other projects ate into time and I decided to hold off on development for it. That, and the external model, which was originally made for FS2004, is nowhere near the quality expected for today's add-ons.

I have been working for a whole semester on this aircraft. We have it at our school for the aviation mechanics major. I could have given you all the reference you need. The aircraft we have is still taxing and everything's still looks fine.

Any update on her and the 425?

Good question.

I've been following the development since early October and other than a few pretty good shots of the exterior modeling, there hasn't been any definitive information on the progress for a couple of months.

Do we know if LJ has given it to anyone to flight/beta test or?

Thank you Hughes-MDflyer4 for posting the update.

On a personal note; I exchanged a few e-mails with Ethan in October regarding both the 400-series Cessna's for FSX and Learjets in general.

Ethan was a talented modeler, and more importantly; A really nice guy.

My condolences to his family.

Chad

High Flight by John Magee

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,

And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

Sunwards I’ve climbed and joined the tumbling mirth

Of sun-split clouds – and done a thousand things

You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung

High in the sunlit silence. Hovering there,

I’ve chased the shouting wind along and flung

My eager craft through footless halls of air,

Up, up the long delirious burning blue

I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace,

Where never lark, or even eagle, flew;

And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod

The high untrespassed sanctity of space,

Put out my hand, and touched the face of god.

Rest in Peace Ethan..

Thats very sad news. An extremly talented guy is gone forever. :(
May he rest in peace!
