• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi,
When I try to compile an airport I have modified for P3D, I get the following error message:-


"Compiler Errors Found. These were not identified by the Issue Manager. Please let us know
what the compiler error is so that we can improve the Issue Manager.

The compiler message is shown below

INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C2431: Unrecoverable error loading schema!
INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C1010: Failed to load XSD (bglcomp.xsd)!
INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C2003: Failed to process file: C:\MSFS\FS Design Tools\Airport Design Editor 165\!AdeTempWorkOnly\EGDM_ADEP3_MAEN.xml"


I have found 'bglcomp.xsd' in: 'C:\MSFS\FS Design Tools\Airport Design Editor 165\P3D' and the file: 'C:\MSFS\FS Design Tools\Airport Design Editor 165\!AdeTempWorkOnly\EGDM_ADEP3_MAEN.xml' is present in that folder.

Is there some way round this problem?

OK - first thing is that you are pointing at the FSX SDK. This is just not going to work

If you haven't installed the P3D v3 SDK then you need to do it. Once you confirm that you have it installed then you need to go to Settings > Options > Folders Tab and click the Find button

ADE should automatically find the paths to the Compilers. If it does not then you have a registry problem.

I have resolved the issue. I still had the paths looking in my Microsoft FSX dir. This was set in an earlier version of ADE. I wasn't even aware that the required compilers were included with the newer ADE 1.7 series. I am presuming that the registry entries were not overwritten with the updated releases. Thanks for the quick reply.
