• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Düsseldorf Airport

Cool to know actually... Well I'll have to reference to the image I took that day to be certain what's what but I remember that (in may 2013, so it can very well be invalid now) an old LH aircraft stoof in a hangar.... I'm suprissed to hear there were 737s in hangar 8, hasn't AB sold them all?

The -700s are still going to be seen in AB colors until 2019 (thank goodness*!) because of an (awful) wet lease deal with TUIFly. The -800s are supposed to leave the fleet this year, but I have no idea how many are still left.



*They're delightfully noisy on approach comapred to the Airbus types.
 
Well I only recall a 737 in AB colours at dus a year or so back, last time I actually saw one was in Frankfurt (oddly enough*). Also the Dash 8 are sadly on the way out, though they should still be Walter lfgs property. so may I assume you live in the approach path to Tegel? Well I can't say anything about noiseprint of a 737 vs A320 since I only get few 737s and a320s (and occasionally an AN-12) overhead. Also I've never flown in a 737 (only in the A320s and Fokkers by Austrian). But I liked the sight of TUI 737s anyway, most certainly the special Haribair liveries. Though I've got some nice images and memories of the AB 737s**

* went there to see the whole LH fleet and all of the sudden there's a lonely AB plane...

** I'll if I can find some of those images I made on the airport tour, I'd recommend that tour to anyone!

Yes well... Since it's freeware people might want to help...
Also I've got a numbre of airport I want to have propperly (such as Düsseldorf and Cologne or as I call it Köln) and freeware makes that way more possible, again through the ability of help.

Doesn't seem like it since they've increased their fleet in 2015. And the Dashs have always been operated by LGW.

Challenge accepted! I've faced greater challenge, at the first sight, I did the Midfield Terminal in Abu Dhabi for someone who hasn't yet finished their scenery, which I would think is a complex stucture. Though I'll need to find some images and get SBuilder going (never mind that, SBuilder probably doesn't have imagery back to that point).. But I won't start today, local holidays, but I might start wendsday ;)

I honestly wouldn't know how to actually... but that's a whole different problem I guess.
