• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

At the moment we have a problem with the FSDeveloper server, it is not sending out any emails at the moment. We are looking into the cause of this problem, but have not found the fix yet.

Unfortunately this also means that no confirmation email are send if you register a new account. So you can not active your account at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience, we are trying to fix this ASAP.

We are still working on the issue. If you have registered for a new account and want to access the forums please send me a PM or an email, I will activate your account manually. We hope to solve this issue soon.
 
Following up on Arno's post. We are still having problems with emails generated by the forum. Therefore new users are not getting the activation emails at the moment. If you are a new user awaiting activation then we will be looking to activate you manually if possible.

Please check now and again to see if you are activated and able to post. If not then let one of use know - arno AT fsdeveloper.com or jon AT fsdeveloper.com. We will then check the status of your registration and let you know if it has been activated.

Hopefully the problem will not persist too much longer.

We should now be up to date. If you have registered in the last few weeks and not received an activation email please check. You should now have access to the site.

Perhaps this isn't related to email problems at FSDeveloper, but the ScruffyDuck Issue Tracker won't let me in, even though I created an account. I activated the account but it still won't let me in...Whether this is related or not, I don't know. :confused:

That is part of the overall problem Martin. We have lost the automated link between the forum and our mail server. So any emails that would be sent automatically - registration activation and new post notifications - are not being sent.

The guys are working on it!
 
The problem has been solved now. So the emails should start coming again.
