• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

What can I do?

The type of taxiway is set to NONE instead of GATE_SMALL or RAMP_GA, etc. So just find the parking spot (you can use the Edit -> Find Taxiway Point option if you need to) and change the type from NONE to a different option.

I'll add an error check for this as well.

Thank's, no one more

could you please help me once more.

You probably have some taxiways that are assigned to non-existant parking locations. Have you run the error checking within FSX Planner yet? If not try runnning that to see what it says (Compile -> Error Checking). Also run the Clean All function (Compile -> Clean All) as well to make sure your airport doesn't have any odd objects in it.

one more question : I have tried to extract with ADE wml file of LFJL, and just compile it with bglcomp. I've errors.... with boundaryFence. Could you explain wy???

Thank's

Yves

Generally that means you are not using the latest version of BglComp - make sure that you have the latest from SP1a

Sorry we can't do that as we are not allowed to distribute MS Software.

When I want to install the SP1, i'm asked CAB "PCW_CAB_RTMtoSP1 and I cannot locate it. Could you help me???

thank's
Yves

Have you got the original SDK installed correctly? I presume you are talking about the SDK?

I don't think you need to install SP1 and SP1a I think you can just install the latest SP1a - is that what you are trying to do?

No, because when I dble click on the SP1a, nothing hapens, and when I try with the SP1 I've the error. My FSX is Sp1 patched.

Thank's
Yves

So the installer does not start is that what you are saying or does it come up with an error message?

the installer of SP1a doesn't start at all. I've nothing happening...

Thank's
Yves

PS that's why I ask for the bglcomp.exe

Well I think you need to find out why the installer is not starting because there are a lot of other things in the SDK. Have you tried re-downloading the installer from MS?

I tried to erdownload twice, but the only rhing I need at this time is bglcomp. The rest I'll get from a friend who has installed SP1a, but I shall only see him next week.

thank's
Yves

I found that the SP1a installer took a long time to start. It appeared to do nothing but in fact was running. I would suggest that you run it again and wait for about 5 minutes.

That's something I had forgotten George - I seem to recall using the Task Manager to check that it was doing something
