Hi,
I have a set of semi-transparent polygons in FS9 that have oil spots on them that I can place on the tarmac at an aircraft parking place using Instant Scenery. I use a zbias attribute in the material to keep these from flashing.
When I convert these to FSX format using MCX it sets the transparency just fine, and I set the NoShadow to True to avoid seeing a shadow around them.
But at altitude these polygons flicker pretty badly. I tried using the ZBias setting in MCX, but that raised them up so you cannot see the aircraft wheels now underneath them.
Is there a technique similar to the FS9 zbias material setting, or do I have to live with flickering in FSX?
Thanks,
