• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

As for appealing to the "Gameplayers" not buying DLC, just suppose that one of the future options is a "Pear Harbor Challenge!" which would allow the "Gamer" to engage Zeros in air-to-air combat?

Sooner or later MS will have to provide some way to "BLOW STUFF UP" if the intend to keep the interest of "Gamers."

Or it might be that once Flight is released and the store opened, there may be a significant amount of feature and content available to download initially with more to follow?

Yes, and I thank you for posting that same quote at AVSIM as well. It does support -or at least not negate- my hypothesis that there may very well be two separate beta groups, one of which who're testing the "We know this group will be leakers" version of Flight...

...and the other, more tightly trusted group who're testing the full release candidate... :D

I salute your positive outlook and faith Bill.

Guys

I do believe that this thread is now going over old ground ;)

I agree with this statement quite strongly.
We've already reached the conclusion
Flight: A game, is useless to us developers, Microsoft want a new audience
P3D: It's a potential, but all we can do is wait.

Can we please drop it from here?

Youve got to be joking. Gamers arent interested in pretty graphics...the reak hardcore gamers want high fps and action. Flight is like lego blocks...it gives something kids to do for a while until they get bored....MW3 after that, real action. Flight has arcads alk over it and arcade is pretty dulk these days.
