• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FlusiFix-2006 V5.0 problems...

Yesterday I tried out FlusiFix-2006 on my FSX Accelerator using WOAI and no scenery add-ons.

I first tried the AI Taxi Speed fix. It increased the speed ok, BUT it also moved the parked, animated baggage carts from in front of the aircraft, next to the push-back truck, to a place right under the right wing of the aircraft. So now when I start up the sim, all the baggage carts are parked in the way of the aircraft's wing. (When the plane arrives in the spot it runs over the cart)

Here is a pic from KLAS. This is right after the scenery/airport is loaded and after I used Flusifix for the taxi speed.

As you can see the gray baggage carts are not parked where they should be (By the push back tug and the loader). And when they move to the baggage loader cart, they turn completely around and drive through the plane, then turn back to the loader cart.

Here is my Flusifix settings. (AI_Player.dll in use: Version 10.0.61637.0 (ACC-Pack) See the pic.

I wonder if Flusifix-2006 is compatible with Accelerator (2007)?

ALSO, the fuel truck now does funny thing as well. It now drives through the terminal building and other AI aircraft to get to the plane. It then stops right on top of the baggage loader then drives over the push-back tug.

The read-me says not to contact the author for help and to go to the Flusifix forum, which is not working.

So I have to come here and ask for help.

Has anyone here seen this kind of airport support traffic problem before with Flusifix? The AI Taxi Speed code must be conflicting with the AI ground traffic file in FSX Accelerator or something.

Thanks for your help.

Scott

Hi Scott,
I contacted the forum and you are right. The forum exists now only in the german version. So you have to translate your question and register in the Flusifix-forum. The englishbutton will be extinguished.

The bag trucks appear in same case of the picture on top of this topic. When i back to original speed, all appear ok :( very sad... taxi speed increased is a very good option.

SORRY MY MISTAKE: My version is 5.0... same of the topic starter...

Hi.
First: sorry I mixed up your "same" as "some"
I never changed the taxispeed with Flusifix so I can't say if it is bad or good. Flusifix was also made for FSX and it works with Acceleration so I use. Flusifix only change things and procedures you can also change in the aircraft.cfg or in other fileswithout difficulties. Maybe there is a negative effect by changing the taxispeed. I never read about such problems.
There is another mistake. The Flusifixforum works but only in German! Try to contact http://www.board-4you.de/v56/boards/57/index.php?sid=

Each version of FSX has a different ai_player.dll. There are a total of 4. Some of the tools in Flusifix cannot be used if you have acceleration.

Is there anyway you can elaborate on this some more? Total of 4 files? Could you explain please?

Scott

There are 4 different versions of FSX. Each uses a different ai_player.dll file.

FSX Release
FSX SP1
FSX SP2
FSX Acceleration

Hi all,
I have no good news:(. I wrote to the German forum and the answer was Flusifix is a old program and can't be changed anymore. The programming language of flusifix is not available and has to be written new. The bug with the taxispeed and the baggage cars was never mentioned except in this forum thread.
I never used this function before. I tested it today and the result was the same.

There are also only three ways:

1. let the baggage cars do what they want and don't look in her direction or
2. excluse the airportvehicles generaly in the FSX settings ( and be happy with the accelerated taxispeed) or
3. don't use this function of Flusifix:D

That is very unfortunate that the creator will not continue the program development anymore. Bummer...:(

I would like to thank everyone who commented to this thread. You have all been a big help and I appreciate it.

A question... and if i put the ai_player.dll from SP2 into a Acceleration, will be operates?

Flattermann, i think in exclude the baggage cart direct into a XML... and maintain the loader and pushback tug :)

The Acceleration ai_player.dll is a different version and larger then the one for SP2. This is because of the additional airplanes, missions, ATC, AI Planes in missions, many enhanced airports and scenery objects added to Acceleration that stand-alone SP2 does not have.

You cannot exclude the baggage cart using a exclude rectangle compiled from a XML code. You must disassemble the bgl it is located in, remove it then compile.

The Flusifix Ground Vehicle Speed as seen in the OP's picture has nothing to do with changing the speed of all the freeway traffic in FSX. It only changes the airport vehicles that travel from parking spot to parking spot if they exist. Airport vehicles do not exist at every airport and is based on a percentage of certain types of parking available.

I talk about editing a file of Living World... i see in someone place that we can edit for use a personal vehicle for example... one guy uploaded to flightsim or avsim, i cant remember, a updated follow me pick-up... and for this appear, the way is a editing LWcfg.xml.

Look for file with name: airport_securitypickup.zip

Flusifix has nothing to do with LWcfg.spb (xml)

What you are seeing in the airport_securitypickup.zip is the sim.cfg that is in the default FSX Asian Pickup Airport Ground Vehicle model. The developer copied the default FSX model to make a texture for his vehicle.

He used Flusifix to change the vehicle speed in the sim.cfg to 57 Kilometres. LWcfg.spb calls the airport vehicles from the FSX\SimObjects\Groundvehicles folder.

Code:
[DesignSpecs]
max_speed_mph =57
acceleration_constants = 0.3, 0.4  //Time constant (effects responsiveness), and max G acceleration
deceleration_constants = 0.2, 0.4  //Time constant (effects responsiveness), and max G acceleration
ms_mph=115 //Security copy by FlusiFix - Do not edit this line!

Jim,

If i "quit" the baggage cart into a groundvehicles folder? My trouble disappear, you agree?
