• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi
I’m just wondering if anyone can help
When I’m in my FSXse I try to use the real work weather option but tells me that I need to check my internet connection and configuration
I have checked my internet connection and it is fine just wondering if anyone could help with the configuration or knows how to stop the error

I believe the server was shut down a while ago. Unless you use a third party application, you can‘t download real time weather.
 
If you have FSX Steam Edition you can enable the Beta mode and gain access to the Real World Weather I think.
 
Just a heads up: FSRealWX will keep on working after 30 days. It will just be a limited version. Very similar to FSUIPC. If you pay before the 30 day time limit, you get all the "bells and whistles". ALL the features are available and functional. If you don't, many of the advanced features and functions don't work, but the basic program still works just fine.

I downloaded the latest FSRealWX when it first came out, and it still works fine for me. I also downloaded FSRealWX Lite long, long ago. It still works like the first day I installed it. I actually prefer the Lite version. It just seems to work "better", somehow. Hard to describe, but they both work just fine in FSX.

Just wanted to let y'all know.

I know this is an lold old thread, but is anyone still using FSRealWX? If so, can you still purchase it? I've been using it for years and it still works, but mine is FSrealWX Pro Unregistered. I would like access to the rest of the 'bells and whistles" by registering it if it is still available. It' simple to use and doesn't require replacing a bunch of sim files, I don't like addons that go messing around with my sim files. I already had a bad experience with GSX screwing with my files and still haven't fully recovered from that yet. What I really want is to use the weather from a different location than that of where my aircraft (or vehicle) is located, but the functions that let me do that are not available in the unregistered version of FSrealWX Pro. If I can still purchase this addon, I would be willing to do so. If it's not available anymore then is there a 'patch' that gives me full function?

Ok, I tried that link, it comes up but when I try to download the file it takes me to something called 'Wayback Machine' and says the URL has not been registered or something like that, I am unable to get to the actual download.

TRied to download from SimMrket, I get a 'Not Found" error. If I just purchase the darn thing, do I just get a license or do I get the actual program?
 
I have not used this in many years, and do not recall- like other users- ever having needed to run more than just the demo.

I haven’t used it in quite some time, so I have nothing to add. Sorry.
 
How do you get it to work? It closes immediately after I click ok from the setup menu. It also crashes when I click on the 'Must Buy" statement box. It says the trial period is over, I never tried it so how can it be over?
