Fuel Triggers

OK, I admit it, I have gone brain-dead...

Could somebody tell me where I get a fuel trigger? I couldn't find it in the object library. ADE would not let me copy one from another airport. Usually, I just keep the one that is there by default, but I have foolishly deleted the only one in the aiport...

Sorry for my stupidity,

Ehh, what is a fuel trigger?
Thanks.

Used to re-fuel a user aircraft at an airport. In FSX the fuel parking spots are separately designated. But the parking spot alone won't allow re-fuelling. A fuel trigger needs to be co-located as well as a libraray object for the fuel pumps (if you want a visual model where the fuel stop is :).

ADE will let you add fuel triggers but, as mentioned above, this is only available from a selected fuel parking spot. Once created you can set the fuel types that the pumps will dispense. You could also if the fancy took you move the trigger away from the fuel parking spot but I can't see why you would want to do that....

1.37 and fuel trigger

Hi,

It seems that when I right click on a fuel parking, I havent add-> fuel trigger option ?

In my last release, I have a fuel and a vehicle parking. But when I press Shift+F, I got message "Fuel truck right", not the normal message ending with ".. you are number one", and nothing is going on. When I repress Shift + F, I got "no fuel truck on this airport". when I check for errors, there are not errors.

Any idea ?

hi Simu67

is the fuel spot you need the trigger for highlighted? before you right click to add the trigger?
i take it you have added the fuel truck?
and is the fuel truck connected to your network/paths?
might pay to upload your ADE file so we can take a look at it.
zip it first.
or even a pic of the airport you are modifying.
