• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

i have fsx deluxe acc pack, and using ade 143,

Moved to ADE forum, as that seems a more appropriate place.

Go to:
> Airport Properties
> Services

change the chosen fuel from 'NO' to 'YES'.

Hi i posted question
how do you make fuel work at airports no fuel available?
i have fsx deluxe acc pack, and using ade 143,
have fuel trigger with fuels marked, still says no fuel.

I checked all fuels yes, then tried some fuels,
I tried severel planes, to no avail. I found airports that Say no fuel available,
and I cant get it to change.
I went to roswell nm, checked settings available, roswells stock ap has fuel,
i deleted the trigger, now no fuel, I reinstalled roswells fuel trigger , and the bgl I created had fuel back. The Fuel truck Is not visible In ade. but its there and running IN flight sim.
Whats UP, is there a setting in stock airports with no fuel, that needs changed, and can I do it from ade.
I also loaded everything from a fresh install on another computer, no fuel.
Thanks for the help terrawatt . :) (nickname cause been a computer tech for 20 years)
thanks gary

I think we need to be clear what is going on and what you are expecting. Are you looking
  • to re-fuel your user aircraft when you taxi up to a fuel point?
  • to get information about the fuel available from ATC etc when approaching an airport or checking it in the GPS or map etc
  • for a fuel truck to come to aircraft at parking spots.
Thanks

Have you made a parking spot in the fuel trigger rectangle that is type FUEL? ATC cannot direct you to a fuel parking spot at the fuel trigger unless you define the correct type parking spot.

If you want a fuel truck to visit a parking spot you must have a type parking spot called vehicle.

A fuel trigger opens dialog box in the same way that a refueling truck ?

A fuel trigger dialog is in the ATC window when you arrive at a airport. You can ask ATC for the Fuel Station and park/fill airplane fuel tanks in the trigger box if a parking spot is set to type=Fuel and associated with the fuel station.

To call a Fuel Truck to your parking spot and give you fuel is a keyboard command type dialog that displays across the top of the simulator screen. You must have a fuel truck on the airport somewhere and the parking spot must be type= vehicle set at 5 Meter in size.

Yes is correct my question is when call a fuel truck open a window for setting the fuel quantity this happen too with the paking fuel trigger? or automatic set the fuel to 100%
Sorry I think for my English was not understood the question

Hi. I think what he's is asking is ...

I have Airport Design Editor and what I would like to know is how do I add a fuel truck and ground power cart to an airport that doesn't have one, using ADE?

I modified the question, as I have the very same question. I already have a working fuel station for General Aviation (AVGAS), but the airport I'm working on also has two types of jet fuel, so I need the trucks to service 737s and CRJ7s. Thank you for your software and support. :D

Hi Randy welcome to the forum,
open ADE at your airport and from the menu top left "Gate Heavy" (the default) scroll down this list until you see "Vehicle" at the bottom, click on it to get the X hairs,
click the green button on the left (ADD Gate) then place it where you like at your airport, try to add vehicle paths so the truck uses these to try and keep it from using the taxiways
the GPU is added by right click at your airport Add/Library Object then Category "Vehicle Airport" this brings up the list of Vehicles you can add including the GPU these are static vehicles

If you call the fuel truck the fuel window will open after the fuel has filled all tanks. Once the fuel window has opened you can set the fuel to a different amount.

If you go to the fuel pumps there should be a invisible square box on the apron called a fuel trigger. When the plane comes to a stop in the trigger area the fuel gauges will go to 100 percent full. You will NOT get the fuel window after the fuel tanks are full so it is automatic and sets the fuel to 100%. However, you can still change the fuel amount by using the Aircraft pull down menu and selecting Fuel and Payload
