Groundpoly in MCX!!!

Well, I made a groundpoly in gmax. Made a MDL with XML edited (lat and lon...) and I compiled with BGLcomp.exe. I put the bgl on FSX and everything Ok! It`s there!!! But,flickering!!!

When I import in MCX the BGL made from BGLcomp and making settings to "wizard ground poly" to solve flickering problems. I export, same process early but the bgl from MCX don't apear in FSX. But I don't know what happens.
It's there any more setting that I need to put in MCX panel from "wizard"?

Thank you.

You need to set the lat, long, and elevation in the wizard, at least.

Ok! I see! Im my case, the lat and lon that I have from FSX is S23* 28.99 W47* 29.08 and the alt. is 2.077 ft !! It's this way that I need to put in MCX?
Thank´s for you help.

Yes, you need to enter the location of the reference point (like you put in the XML file).

In a future update ModelConverterX will read it from the BGL directly btw.

Please! Tell me if I'm doing something wrong!
1 - I make the ground plane with a plane in the gmax (gamepack FSX).
2 - I place the texture in the object (FSX Material)
3 - Save to MDL
4- Import the MDL in the MCX with "wizard"
5- Lat -23 28.99 and Lon -47 29.08
6- Alt: 633.070 in meters
7- I do not change nothing more
8- I click in "convert"
9 - The MCX convert the bgl
10- I put the bgl in the scenery FSX. (Texture DDS in the right place)
11- Load the scenery
11 - And nothing!!! Empty!!!

Someone can help me?!

Do you have a flatten under your poly which has the same altitude then the poly itself? If your mesh is above the poly you see nothing.

Hummm! I have a flatten made with ADE in the same folder of my scenery. And my mesh of Brazil in another folder.
I'll make some changes.
Thank you so much.

Just to test this theory, I assume you could create the ground poly 1 foot above the current ground level to make sure it would be visible?

Hi,

I don't think ModelConverterX understands the Lat -23 28.99 format. It expects position in decimal format. So that could be part of the problem as well, you would get a wrong position.
