• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

i think this website needs a makeover

i think this website needs a makeover, dont you think?

We are always welcome feedback from our members but perhaps you could give us a little more detail on what you would like to see changed?

Absolutely not! This is one of the best organized websites around... :twocents:

Most Definatly not.
This has got to be the BEST website forum I have ever visited.
No frills ,Not popups and no never ending links to chase around trying to get Info.
PLease don't change it.

maybe you should see what he thinks before you say no because you might like his idea...

Hi,

We choose these colours because we want a simple layout, with colours that allow easy reading. Personally I don't believe so much in fancy layouts that only distract the user. The focus should be on the information that is available.

But what kind of layout did you have in mind? Can you give some sample?

Well, maybe a section for the "nekkid wireframe" of the week of someone's work in progress.

I remember some of Gerard's work in progress wireframe shots were pieces of art in their own right!

Perhaps the easy solution (for colors, etc..) is to offer the user the ability to change the LOOK. On my web sites, where I have a forum, or pictures, etc.. I let the users choose the layout/look of their own.

This is run on vBulletin and there are MANY templates that could be installed so users can have their own experience.

Just a thought.. That would seem to make most happy.

(Respectfully, of course) this thread deserves a peanut:

:speanut:

Lmao :D

It's one of the nicest layout's I've seen on a forum. Nice and simple with no adverts plastered all over the page :twocents:
