• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v4 Library Object Manager - cleanout

I have some scenery objects in the LOM that are not going to work in P3dv4 and I'd like to remove the suspected items in blocks rather than individually. I'm using ver 1.75 which I doubt matters.

Is there a way of doing this other than deleting them all and re-loading?

You can delete them by library

Select the library and then when the list is populated select Delete All. However what bothers me is that the LOM data for P3D v4 contains only stock objects unless you have added some from another source or copied the library object database from somewhere else

Thanks for that solution Jon however as you suggest the stock work fine and it's some of my old add-ons that need to go. I'll do it the hard way.

I'm facing the problem now where scenery e.g. OZx is being placed, saved and compiled (v.4 SDK) but fails to print when run up in the simulator. All stock scenery's work as designed.

Is there a problem with the untouched old scenery in the 64 bit sim or am I missing something. I was a heavy user of IS and lost all of those additions with its present demise but that was to be expected.

Certainly the ADE method of placement has a much more permanent residual nature.

Any thoughts appreciated.
