I am trying to create some lights using Gmax. I am not sure if my method is correct so any additional help anyone can give would be gratefully received.
I have tried the light materials method. I create a lamppost, create a transparent material and call it Light_Logo (I have tried all the variants as well), apply the material etc (I do not name the part to which the material is applied). The mdl compiles but when I try either to run it through MDL Tweaker or LibraryCreator I get the error messages displayed on the attached screen shots.
I have tried creating a ligth using the effect option too. I can get the ligth effect to dispay on its own but when I try and attach it to a lamppost and export it, I get the same errors as on the attached.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
