• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FS2004 Micro Excludes do not match on another PC

Hi Jon,

if I want to change an airport and I have only a BGL, I use to load the stock airport, save and compile it.

I edit the XML and copy the excludes to the xml of my airport.

Then I load my airport from xml and I have the necessary micro excludes.

It works perfect on my PC.

But it does not work on pcs of my friends or on my second pc (notebook).
 
Why not load the airport from the bgl file and then use Tools > Load Stock Data - or is that what you are doing?

So the placement of micro excludes is different depending on the computer that the project bgl is loaded on?
 
No, I want get the micro excludes you create when I would create an airport complete new.
I have an airport (and the permission to create a FS9 version from an P3D version) and want to change something like apron lights and lighting by AFLT4.
If I use a large exclude over the whole airport it has unwanted side effects to delete parts (3D objects) of the AFLT approach lights.

Yes, I could check it, these micro excludes are different, if I use a German or English version of FS2004.

My configurations:

Desktop: Win 10, fs2004 English, ADE9 01.78.7298.19731
Notebook: Win 11 fs2004 German, ADE9 01.78.7298.19731

The placement and the count of micro excludes is different.
 
Can you send me an example of the original bgl file and the project you finally compile for your changes?
