• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Like Lane Street says, that's really great work for three days. Geez it took me longer than that to make one fuel pump model once. Actually most things I make take me longer than 3 days.

Really nice work!

Cheers,

Scott

Very nice work!!! How about doing Boscobel, Tinson Pen, & Negril...That would be nice...

I actually considered Negril at one point..maybe, just maybe;)

Thanks guys! Practice makes perfect I guess...oh and planning!

Day 1 consisted of 3d modeling in Sketchup and some texturing, Day 2 the ground polys were started and completed on Day 3 then texturing and placement of objects, trees, animations were completed by night.
I haven't done any work today (Day 4) as I've been busy flying but I might put in some work tonight :p

Wow! I can't even figure out how to make my ground poly edge textures.... Lol. Three days? That's beyond belief. And you modeled it in sketchup? How did you get the textures to look so professional? Thanks :)

I'm very skilled at Photoshop lol. All of my textures were made in Photoshop. ;)

This looks amazing. :)

Do the Jetways work with SODE or CRTL - J?

Unfortunately no. I don't know how to animate them as yet.

Great looking airport :) Are those lights towers by Jim Dhaenens? I have tried them, but can't seem to get a wash from them by setting the bank as he says?

I am hoping to finish up this project in the next few days

Yes they are :p. They worked straight out of the box, not sure why you're having issues.

I'll have to look into then, I must be doing something wrong. They are a great set of lights.

Wow! that's a record, looks very good for 3 days of work.
Keep it up.
Your MWCL airport is also very great, thanks for that beautifull airport.
how is the progress on MWCR going?
