Can you give me an example of what the comments look like and where they are?
I am having a tough time placing the Clawson Saratoga carrier off the coast of Athens, Greece. It will not compile. I also do not have the fs9 sdk installed, and do not know if that is needed. I have a folder with bgl.com, this version:
BGLXML 1.8, by Alessandro G. Antonini (C)2004
this is an utility which disassembles BGL files
into new FS2004 format and produces an XML
file to be compiled with Microsoft BGLCOMP
(from FS2004 SDK). Besides disassembling
all BGL records, it is also able to extract
.MDL files from ModelData sections.
This utility is freeware and open-source,
licensed under GNU-GPL to help developers
understand the new FS2004 BGL structures
(contributors are welcome) - please read
inside documentation for important infos.
Also includes XMLSHELL, a GUI program for
controlling bglxml from Windows Explorer.
Is that the version needed?
The late David Marshall had helped me and I had placed the same carrier in 5 locations. But I lost his help files in a crash.
Any help will be appreciated.
I looked for a word called 'placement' and for one called 'comments' in the xml file--found nothing. Is comments the " " quotes?
