Hi guys,
I hope someone can help me out with this one. I have created a Royal Navy Invincible class aircraft carrier in sketchup, used MCX to create an FSX mdl (fantastic tool btw!), and added a platform using the attached object editor.
When I convert the mdl to a static BGL and place it within FSX everything works great and I can land, take off etc etc.
I've now created a moving carrier with an associated track (using aibtc), and here is where the problem lies. When I land on the deck and come to a stop, the carrier continues steaming on but the aircraft speed is 0 relative to the ground and not to the deck surface.....ergo I eventually fall off the back of the deck and into the drink!.
I have tried various aircraft including the default FSX microlight and all with the same problem. These aircraft do not exhibit the same problem with other developers carriers (Ark Royal IV, Victorious, HMS fearless etc), and once landed on have a speed of 0 relative to the deck but a speed of x relative to the water (where x is the speed of whatever carrier I have landed on). So what am I missing in my model to do this?

Cheers
Gary
