• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

If eye candy can impress so many on a developers site, just imagine how well it will play with the masses. Microsoft really does know that style not substance is what will sell Flight like hotcakes!

Regards, Mike Mann

Is a developer going to make something that looks bad? I reject the "eye candy" idea. I want what I see outside to look as good as possible. Others have other priorties. That's fine. I'm not a pilot, so I have no idea what a plane should look like or how it should handle. Since few of us have full home simulators, that move when we move the yoke, seems hard to judge flight dynamics.

Do you really think that the MS developers read what is being posted in the various forums?

Regards, Mike Mann

Mike, the nice folks at ACES did, so why should the new team in the MS Game Studio be any different...

...especially since most of them are the same people who were formerly ACES employees?

In fact, quite a few of them actively post at AVSIM, Flightsim, and other forums incognito. For what should be obvious reasons they don't reveal themselves, but...

...having gotten to know some of quite well over the years, some few of us know who they are... ;)

I agree with you Bill, they do read around, now that does not mean they´ll pay much attention!!!!!:D

I saw the waving trees at the 0:41 spot in the video. They seemed to be swaying at random though, and not due to an external force...somewhat like the bobbing buoys in FSX. I'd sure like to see them react to real wind, then we'd have a better than even shot at getting conditional response back.
