Multiple Texture Sheets

Hey everyone,

I am having an issue right now with using multiple texture sheets. Basically what I am trying to do is set up my planes like the stock fsx planes are, with the _1 texture sheet having the main livery and the _2 texture sheet having all of the things that don't ever need to be repainted, such as wings and wheels.

My problem is that the _1 texture sheet shows up on all of the parts that _2 sheet should. The _1 sheet shows up correctly, and the _2 sheet doesn't show up at all. I am not sure what causes this or how to fix it.

The textures look fine in gMax, if that is of any use.

Also, I have my textures named B717_1_T.dds and B717_200_2_T.dds

Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is a bug in the FSX gamepack, where FSX materials are given the same name. Just check for duplicate material names.

Is that only an issue with fsx materials? If so, it would probably help to know that I am applying my texture as standard materials.

If it is an issue with any type of material, where exactly do I check for duplicate material names?

In the Material Navigator, the three colored balls at the top right of GMAX.

GMAX (etc.) does not check for duplicate material names, so you have to. :)
