• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi lads,
doe's any of you know how to add the texture to the new AFCAD layout. I not sure how to..:(?? It just i am trying to update the galway airport scenery EICM so that it will show the 2nd taxi way and i cam sort out the ai traffice as well.

I am not sure what you mean by texture? Do you mean adding a taxiway or something else?
 
I mean by adding the taxiway to galways scenery by PC pilot Ireland.As it only has one taxiway,so i wanted to add the second one to it.I have afx to edited any airport.when i edited galway eicm and add it to the scenery files and overwrite the eicm afcad file,then i load up fs9 and check out the new afcad layout that i have made with the second taxiway.
NO joy at all ,just the same eicm scenery with the one taxiway.:(
any eye-dears in how to add the new afcad with the second taxiway??:confused:
 
Let me be clear what you did:

  • You loaded the galway EICM blg file into AFX
  • You edited this and added a taxiway
  • You saved the bgl file using the same name so that you no longer have the original
  • However the original is still showing up and your modification is not.

First are you sure you over wrote it? That is not actually a good idea but...

Have you actually checked to see whether the bgl file has been updated? That is the date on it is new?
 
Why don't You simply revert to ADE, a program that's free and performs!
