New Member Registration Issues

We have just become aware of a problem with confirming new user registrations. The system should send a confirmation email once we process the registration. This is not happening. We are working on finding what has gone wrong.

In the meantime registration are being processed without the email. If you register then please check back after 24 hours to see if you can log on. We request that you wait 24 hours since all registration requests are processed manually to reduce the risk of spamming.

Hi all,

I have just returned from vacation and will check what is going on.

Just before I left I felt that notification emails were also not always send correctly. Have others noticed that as well? In that case it might be a general email sending issue.

Been in contact with the webhost and it turned out their spam filter blocks the confirmation emails. Working on a solution with them.

The spam filter has now learned that our confirmation emails should go through, so when you register you should receive them again. If you don't receive them let us know.
