FSXA Night rendering FSX

Messages

Hello,
I am having an issue to display the night texture in the latest MCX development build but MCX version 1.30 can display the night texture when using the night rendering mode.
Example file can be any standard fsx bgl library file such as
\Scenery\0000\scenery\OBX04070.bgl

Am I missing some setting in the latest MCX development build?

I'll double check, but it should still work.

Hi,

I just checked and it works fine here. I did find a bug that caused the textures not to be found correctly though, before there was a checkerboard texture shown. Is that the issue you have when they do not show?

I just took screenshots. Attached are one from the latest MCX development build ”MCXlatestdevbuild.jpg ”, and ”MCX130.jpg ” from the MCX 1.30 version.
Both MCX versions are vanilla installations.
I have no idea how to see the night texture in the development build. I think this have been introduced since MSFS2020 came out.

Thank you for your help.

Problem solved. You need to activate this button to see the night texture.
See attached file.

Ah yes, the simple shader does not support all material properties. Didn't notice in your screenshot before that you had the simple shader instead of the normal one enabled.
