Hello to all,
I am completely new to FSX and I am a simulation nut for airplanes.
As I've been messing around with the various aircraft I thought to myself "I really enjoy just feeling the immersive environment. If wish I could customize my aircraft so I could move around the cabin, like the Baron 58."
Since then, I've embarked on a rather frustrating quest of getting the SDK software I need. I am unable to locate 3ds max 7+ I need to model in the installation disks and I'm not willing to pay the high price for a commercial copy. I don't understand why MS would promote so much Developing features without the proper software.
Anyway, I've installed FSX SDK2 and am eagerly trying to start modeling some spacious cabins for the Lear 45 and CRJ700.
I welcome any advice or help in getting started - how I can find 3ds max would be great.
I'm no stranger to programming in C++, 2 years of college in Applied Computer Science and Technology. It was a while ago though and I haven't done any programming since.
Regards to all
