Is there a way of fixing that without redoing whole UV mapping and creating textures?
That's what I'm thinking about. Not without redoing the texture, I don't think so. From the texture alone, I can't tell even where the corresponding islands are. You would have to export the UV layout from Blender and take a closer look at it. Find and identify the seams on the UV layout and then check if the islands are distorted or not. You will ultimately have to redo at least the UV mapping for the islands that share a seam where there is a jump. I'm sorry... This modeling passion we're all in always bears this kind of surprises.
Redoing things all the time for no apparent reason or for such reasons as this... is part of the business Cheers
