FSX Object textures only visible from one side

Hi,

I've recently started using 3dsmax instead of gmax for modeling and I have an issue
with the object i'm exporting.

When i export the object certain parts of the object in fsx are either missing or only seen from one side.
Other than that it looks transparent.. I have included the render which is what its supposed to look like and also the in game pics which have the problem areas pointed out.
Model is exported as an X file from 3dsmax and put through MCX.

Any idea how to get around this? i really do not want to re model the tower i want to keep moving forward :banghead:

Thanks in advance

When I use MCX, I have some textures which are for this kind of parts. Then I set in MCX material settings double sided for this textures to show from both sides. In SKU I have also two faces of each plane, inner and outer face of a plane (no need to make a 3D wall, only one plane). First I try to check all my models, the outerside is really outside of my model and inner is only inside part of the model. If not, I reverse faces. If I need textures on both sides, I texture both sides of the plane, inner and outer face.
Next in MCX I disable double sided for all textures which are only used outside the model, and use double sided option for all materials which are on both sides.

And that worked like a charm ! thank you very much. Much appreciated.
I think i need to study all the options of MCX as i didn't even know that option existed in MCX.
