Hi guys... Help needed (again).
So, I started to have a go at painting my own textures and getting them into the game... I have painted the texture and have it ready...
What I have done so far:
Ive gone into the default 737 folder to texture.6
I copied the b737_800_1_T.dds (Texture) file to a new folder
Using DXTBmp, I opened that copied file and edited it through paint.
Saved it as Daves.dds
Now... To see if I got it right (I got confused when trying to edit the .cfg file to include an extra texture) I took that Texture.6 file, copied it and saved it to my desktop as a backup. I then deleted the original b737_800_1_T.dds and renamed my edited .dds file b737_800_1_T.dds. Basically to fool the computer and .cfg file into thinking nothing had changed. My aim was for it to notice the texture and use that (thinking it was still the old one)..
It loaded up and my texture was on there... but upside down, back to front and in some places, it looks like the inside textures are on the outisde.
So, Im stuck...
any ideas? All I done to edit the original was paint the existing lines a different colour. Id appreciate any help... Or a step by step if possible
