• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

problem

I don't understand what you mean by "computer text". It is an FSX compiled flight plan, put it in the same folder as your ADE bgl.

The computer which I was using did not have Winzip on.Got it now.I have tried the plan but no aircraft appears.
I notice that the stock airports in or near the faulty regions have lost their default traffic.eg EGNM,EGNJ.But if I go a bit further away eg EGCC,EGNV,EGNX,the default traffic is normal,as also is any traffic which I wrote to start from them.

It seems as though you may have some FS9 format traffic files covering airports in the vicinity. These will inhibit FSX traffic.

George,your a star!
I had run the find FS9 plans facility, but it said there were none present. But after your last post I dug a little deeper into things and found an addon airfield which works OK in FSX but was designed for FS9.It had a traffic file embedded in it.I deleted the file and my skies were immediately chock a block with aircraft from all the flightplans which I have written in recent months.
The polar diagram of the faulty area was not a concentric circle based on this airfield, but quite irregular, from 30 to 100 miles from it.This made it difficult to decide if a particular airfield was the culprit. Thanks again.
