• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi guys,
These 2 aircrafts should find a route, - so I will build it.
Here are 3 renders to Show the current state:

That's a great plane and the renders look nice.

Would be nice to see a Dutch livery in the end :). Although it seems the Dutch Navy used the K-variant, not the T-variant.

@arno,
Yea, you are right! - You mean the K-variant for more power, the Wright „Cyclone“ GR-1820-G105A with 1100hp.
That's a better choice for sure, - I will switch to that.
heheh - the Dutch livery is a must have -
mh - Now I will try to find detailed pictures for that engine.
I'm thankful for hints, links and pictures about cockpit and cabin interior
Ralf

There's one in the Dutch military aviation museum, but I'm not sure the interior can be easily seen on that one.

@arno, Dutcheeseblen
Many thanks to you guys, really helpful! Great Support by all of you!!!
I'm happy to found this place.
BTW I lived in the netherland as a soldier(AFC) for 4 years near Maastricht in Oirsbeek, it was a great time.

@hairyspin
not this aircraft yet, but to learn to manage the exporter process, I tried it with some other aircrafts. (DO-X - Transal C130 - Doflug C3605 - Junkers JU52 - Seawind)
Visit my website and have a look.

Looking at your portfolio now...WOW.
I know it's just renderings, but still!!!

Thank you very much!

Like Freddie Frinton as Butler James in 'Dinner for One' says: "I do my very best, Miss Sophie!"

Sieht ja echt super aus!

I guess you are aware of www.cockpitinstrumente.de ? There are most handbooks for the Do 24 T available (needs a yearly subscription). I just love those old German handbooks and spare part lists, as they mostly show all details needed.

Wow, this plane looks really good! Although I'd really love to see it in FSX too... I'm on the search for years now... Just for the T-Version. Never found a single model for FSX though... For FS2000 there is one I think...

However. Keep up your work!

Hello Weimaraner ,

I found this thread when surfing the web and i have to say that i am ammazed by your work. Over the last time i had designed a 3d model Dornier Do24K myself to create a lasercut rc model. To make this model i have used as much original data and drawings as i could aquie.

If i can by of any help on coloring scheme's for dutch variants please let me know ...

Below are some picture of my design work and the build of the 1st prototype in the usa.

Kind Regards ,

Bart
