FS2004 Sbuilder - Photo VTP Polygon, blend mask, file type?

Hello all

first of all Happy New Year and my best wishes for 2015.

Second, I'm currently busy with a small project to represent all Belgian Air Bases a bit more accurate as the default ones of FS2004.
The project isn't something really big, using freeware libraries to set the buildings etc.
I'm using Sbuilder to create photoreal undergrounds which do not cover the AFCAD layer. Now I have some 1 shooting range (Pampa Range) in which the alpha blend works like a charm. My first airbase (Kleine Brogel) there is just 1 "tile" which seems not to have the alpha blend working and on my second airbase (Beauvechain) no blending happens what so ever...
My alpha blend image is just the basic image but the parts I don't want visible black and the others white.
In photoshop I set the mode to greyscale and save as 8bit bmp. This seemed to work for the Pampa Range, partially for Kleine Brogel but completely not for Beauvechain...
So my question is, what file format (bmp sort) should I save the alpha image in order for Sbuilder to actually blend it?

Thanks in advance :)

You need to zip up and attach the textures so they can be analyzed... or give a download link.

Hi Stas.

The alpha bitmap has the name EBBE Alpha.bmp. Try EBBE_Alpha.bmp (no spaces). Also, the alpha mask is not the same size as the image, which might be a problem. 8-bit, grayscale is the right format.

That did the trick. Never even noticed the dimensions weren't the same...
Anyway thx, I know what to pay attention to now :)
