• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

It’s party time! The release of the first stable version of scenProc is there, I have just put scenProc 1.0 online.

Obviously it’s based on the latest development release, if you download the stable release now you will notice the main difference is the completed manual.

Now that I have a stable release out, I can go ahead and implement some of the changes I have planned for scenProc. These will change how certain things work and might give some discussion initially, but that’s why I think it’s good to have a stable release to fall back to in case of emergency.

So let’s celebrate this release now and from tomorrow I’ll continue to improve this tool in the 1.1 development release.

Congratulation, Arno.
Too bad that information in SE Asia is less in Google.

Thanks Arno and congrats! I look forward to trying out the new release. Keep up the great work!

Congratulations and thank you very much for that great program. In my current project Scenproc played a large role again and improves the scenery.

YOU mean I've been using scenProc all these years with hundreds of processes and 100's of 1,000's of little autogen running about and it hasn't been stable?!?! Hate to see what it will do now that it's stable. :).

CONGRATS and a big THANK YOU Arno for helping making our hobby just a little bit easier (and fun), to design with.

At least I have an excuse now when some new features I'll be adding are buggy ;)

Great to hear Arno. It is a unique tool that will be a benefit to many scenery designers. Congratulations and thank you for your continued innovations and support of our hobby.

Cheers,

Scott

It's a fly-by-wire thing - because of Arno's supreme programming skills it does things when unstable that just couldn't be done in a conventional way... :)

But - seriously - Arno's effort to support our community is outstanding. Congratulations on a stable version! Long live the unstable ;)
