• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

The time has come for me to begin the process of shutting down web sites and other services associated with my software. I hope to have them all dealt with by the end of the year. Some which are not at renewal time will be active for as long as the current subscription lasts.

I will place my software (as defined in list page: https://www.scruffyducksoftware.com/downloads) in the Resources section of FS Developer. .

Once I have been through all the subscriptions I will provide a list of expected closing dates

Thanks

Jon

Jon,
Just but a few words... You have brought so much to the flightsimmers community. A huge Thank You above all.
And enjoy coming years and activities, as I assume you have various plans on your desk ;-)
Blue skies above you and family!
Greetings from Paris.

Jon, just want to say a BIG and I mean a BIG THANK YOU for all your years of contributions to the hobby. I still use ADE currently and expect to for several years to come due to clients needs in still in P3D. So if there is something I need, that I am not aware of, FSDeveloper will retain copies I can download from?

Thank you for all the effort put in over the years and Happy times for the future.
It is such a shame that all this wonderful code and knowledge will be lost forever.
Heres hoping you will see it in your heart to upload the source to Github so that others may benefit from your experience and maybe take your code to the next level.

Many, many thanks for your contributions over the years Jon! This hobby just wouldn't be where it is today without you. I agree with the above poster, if you could upload your source code to GitHub it would allow your works to live on and keep evolving. In any case, thanks again and cheers to you!!

Jon, THANK YOU from my heart for everything you have done for the FS community through the years. With your help, I was able to recreate my hometown airport in FS9, and get it uploaded to a couple of popular FS websites for freeware dist. It was a pleasure, and I am forever grateful for your assistance back in 2010. I wish you all the very best in whatever new adventures you decide to enjoy. Thank you again for you help. You are AWESOME!!! -Glenn
