• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Sim Explorer

That's it. I am done. I do not like to search the different configuration files and data of my sim all spread over my hard drives. You know, App Data, Program Data, Roaming… And I don’t want to get my desktop crowded with all the shortcuts.
I wrote a little file explorer to browse and open files related to P3D V1/V2, FSX and FS9. I do not know if it works with the Steam FSX.
One program to open all locations without searching.
You may use it as well on your own “risk”, I include a link for download.
But this is no freeware. This is “H&R”-ware:
Hug the next person who let you hug, then download the software and report here who was the lucky person (not the name).
Have fun!

Thank you for this fine effort. The lucky people were my wife and my daughter; and what the heck... a big hug for you too!!! :D :D :D
Well done my friend; tested in FS9.

Cheers,
Sergio.

Great little file, you made my day, I've had problems with my PC not showing hidden files for FSX in APP DATA. Your little exe has opened them all up for me again. Thanks. Great work!!!

Very nice - the omly 'person' im my household that will let me hug them is the cat :yikes:

With a hug? :P

I'll hug my old folks when I get the chance - and then come to epxlore this interesting piece of bits and bytes.
