SODE problem with Install Creator Pro

I'm trying to create an installer for my first SODE-driven scenery using ClickTeam's Install Creator Pro, and I'm having trouble writing files to the ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE directory. It's probably because it's a protected directory under Windows, but I'm not certain how to proceed.

Has anyone created an installer for SODE content that puts the files in that folder, and if so, how did you accomplish it?

Hi Bill:

I have not yet worked with SODE, but on a practical basis of working within the new quirks of Windows File / Folder security for all versions since Vista, does it help if the executable from ClickTeam's Install Creator Pro is configured to "Run as Administrator" regardless of install target path being inside a Windows default "protected" system folder chain? :scratchch

That was my first thought, but it's set to run as admin by default. Still, adding files to ProgramData is a no-go.

Just an update on this one: I discovered that I was using an incorrect variable to target the ProgramData folder in my installer. Once I sorted that out, I've gotten it to install my SODE files without problem.

There's a new feature in the latest build of Install Creator Pro 2.0 - you can select files that you want to install somewhere other than the default destination. Then under the "Windows" tab to the right, choose "Other" for the destination directory, and "#AllUsersAppData#" in the box below that to specify ProgramData. The other important bit is checking the "Keep pathname" box. Using that combo, it should install fine.
