• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Join our dynamic development team and become an integral part of crafting incredible virtual experiences. As an Asset Integration Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in our aircraft projects, collaborating with a global and diverse team.

Skills & Knowledge:

Proficiency in Autodesk 3ds Max (Knowledge of any recent version is mandatory for this role). Intermediate 3D modelling, rigging and animation abilities. Experience with source control systems (e.g., Plastic SCM, Git, SVN). Familiarity with Microsoft Flight Simulator's Software Development Kit (SDK) and associated tools for 3ds Max, specifically related to aircraft development. Knowledge of Microsoft Flight Simulator's (or ESP) ModelDefinitions XML file format and Reverse Polish Notation (RPN). Understanding of the texturing and modeling processes in game development, including industry standard techniques such as LODs and model optimization.

General Abilities & Requirements:

Flexibility in working hours to collaborate effectively with our global team across different time zones, all from the comfort of your home. A resilient work attitude, thriving in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, and challenging work environment. Exceptional communication skills in clear written and spoken English. A track record of meeting assigned deadlines and consistently delivering high-quality work. Ability to work to a UK time zone or being located in a time zone +/- 4h from UK time.

Preferred Qualities:

A general interest in aviation and/or flight simulation Knowledge of other 3D software such as Blender or Cinema4D.
