Following the tutorial for collada and mass texture editor, I can't seem to get the names of the textures to change without doing so manually.
What I did-
Import a dae file.
In object info I edit name and guid
Now top bar says this item is called mesh-myname (myname being the name I gave this object)
In mass texture editor I click on rename.
small window shows find and replace
In find it says 'texture'
In replace it says 'myname'
I click on update. The process begins.
I check on my destination folder. Inside that instead of myname_0, _1, _2, etc I see image_0, etc.
What did I do wrong?
If I change each texture name by hand it works fine.
BTW- If I see an object I got from collada- i.e. dae file and fine one of th ebuildings is off the ground just a bit- is there any way to correct this with MDX? One object I see has 3 or 4 buildings, one of which is off the ground.
