• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

ADE for Prepar3D

I installed the big pack and everything was great. I then installed another folder INTO the Thumbs folder under ADE\P34 and now I have no thumbs at all. All I did was put all the thumbs from MAIW into a folder called MAIW.bgl and put that folder into the thumbs folder. I then added all the actual .bgl files that contain the actual object. Now I have no thumbs at all and none of the objects I added for MAIW are there. Honestly, I am not even sure all the original objects are there...but maybe they are. This is odd and I def need some help. And yes, I tried removing the MAIW folder..that didn't help, so I put it back.

Are you pointing ADE in the right place? You can set the path to the main Thumbnail folder in the Library Object Manager

You need to set it to point to where the thumbnails are.

Yes Jon, I am. As I stated, it was working perfectly until I ADDED more to it.

Ok...EDIT!!!! So, I am an idiot. LOL At some point playing around I must have changed that to another folder trying to get it to load....and because the path is longer than the window I never noticed it was different. So, thank you for making me check that again Jon!!!! They say the easy/obvious things are the ones we miss... YUP!!!! Working like a dream now!!! DOH!!!!
