• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Transparent texture problem

I already installed the Prokey test once a while ago, now it tells me that the deadline has expired .... I haven't formatted the PC for years .... the ProKey will be left in the registry.

Thanks anyway also because they don't weigh the problem there.

Hello Jon,
I have a ProKey and tried it, but it didn't work , although we can change the texture, I wasn't able to change specific texture properties,

Is this a ground poly? Since you are referring to transparency I can only assume so.

I'm not seeing the connection that ADE has in this at all.

The matter is that the ADE runways (default) up to the p3dv 4.5 version worked well they were OK, from V5 instead doing nothing they don't go well they have that problem, so either it's ADE or it's a bug of P3D V5 that no longer reproduces the runways (dirt and grass but I also think about the other materials ) of ADE correctly.

ADE generates P3d v5 compliant XML for the Bgl Compiler. We can only send to the compiler the information that it accepts. Since we haven't changed anything related to runway surfaces in a very long time then I suspect it is how v5 is interpreting what it is receiving. There are lots of changes in v5 over v4. It might be best to report this on the relevant P3D Forum

Hello,
I think the problem is with P3Dv5, maybe you could report it to the P3D scenery forum. I don't have v4 installed anymore, so I can't take screenshots to compare
Cheers
