• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

1.53.4788 is the latest 'beta' version of ADE. It primarily fixes bugs found in the previous betas and a number of bugs found in the production versions.

We think this is now close to a production release and we will not be making any changes to it other than fixing bugs reported in beta versions.

No other bugs or features are dealt with in this version.

Please note that if you are a ProKey user then the installer no longer installs a ProKey. If you have a previous beta installed then the ProKey should still be there. However if this is your first beta installation or you do not see the ProKey features after install then please copy the file ProKey.dll into the beta Plugins folder.

Hi Jon,

Not sure if its me again, but if I add a background image and send it to front, and then try to send it to back, the objects underneath do not show, even though they are clickable. The image remains on top but the objects (runways etc) ate actually there, just not drawn.

Fixed in the release version. However if you replace the layers.dat file in the Beta installation with the one in the attached zip it should now work.

Hi Jon,

Not sure where to post this and didn't want to detract from the new release. When selecting alternate runway markings, these are not displayed in ADE (however they do show up in FSX once compiled). Nothing major, but one for the list.
