• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

After getting many questions answered from you here on this forum, I have finally uploaded my first ever scenery :)

It is the "Flugplatz Wasserkuppe" EDER in Germany.

Hi, this is indeed very weird. Do you have other addons installed? Maybe can you try to once deactivate them and try again? I do not know whats happening here. Or does somebod else has the same issue?

All other addons work fine, maybe deactivate other is not necessary.
Hope we will find the issues :eek::oops:
 
So you have an airport... you may have an addon already as in the "official" sim there is nothing. Not even a runway.
 
@DLH2553 did you update the MSFS Database with Navigraph? Because, if I am correct, Navigraph is kind of adding missing airports, at least with a runway and some parking positions.

It looks like, this happened here.

Hi, did you try my file if yiu get similar issues?
 
I now also installed the Navigraph data. With it I get bad elevation issues if my package is referenced at the end of the "content.xml", (in my case: "C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache" after the navigraph. If it is before the navigraph data it is better, but still not good.

I'm in contact with Navigraph to see how this doubled runways and elevation issue can be fixed.


Your texture issue (white aprons) I do not get anyways. This seems to be another problem which I currently do not know. Are you sure the download was correct? And are you on the latest Navigraph update (rel. 12)?
 
so, managed NAVDATA to the latest position in the content.xml and now all works fine. no terrain issues - the only failure ist this one:
