• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FS2004 (FSX & X-Plane 10) Bell 429: she is slowly getting some shapes

And while we wait for the 429, I spotted this today coming home from work ;)

Hello lads

After almost 1 month of work we almost have the dashboard and central console done. Need to do some tweaks; there you go:

I am considering to add the Technisonic TFM500; however, this will cost another texture (I finally have no room in my actual "real state"). A long way to go... I need to re-export everything to Gmax and finally test all over again in the sim :yikes:

Is it never ends?

Really hope you like it.
Sergio.
Really beautiful work Sergio! To bad I'm deathly afraid of rotary winged aircraft. I had the horrifying experience of having one crash in my back yard in the mid 70s.

Holy :censored:!!! That must have been terrible; I am sorry for that and I hope nobody has been harmed in that accident; truly :(
On the other and, than you very much for your kind words. ;)

All the best,
Sergio.

It was a USCG training flight, it slung a rotor blade, there were no survivors, fortunately no injuries to anyone on the ground. The rotor blade landed in a trailer park a quarter mile from my home striking a mobile home but nobody was in it at the time. The aircraft crashed in a large field behind my home. The flight was out of the USCG training base in Mobile Alabama.

I am really sorry for all crew members and all people who were affected in any way by this accident. You described how dangerous could be... a blade 1/4 mile away; deadly and frightening without any doubt.

I only can imagine how horrible it was.
Sergio.
:(

Hi lads

Well, despite the central console and its components aren't an exact match, they look gooooooood, aren't they?
By the way, the LCDs on the Technisonich TFM-500 and Garmin GTX 330 are the most suitable layout wich I'd use
for creating the XML gauges (meaning, font styles and colors):

That'll be all for the central console and the dash panel... pfew!!!
Sergio.
;)
