• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Jeez... Talk about toxic complainers...

Sure the sim has a few bugs and missing things that we are used to from other sims but surely the general consensus can't really be that this absolute gem is nothing more than an unfinished, unpolished turd? (or in someone else's words: not a flight simulator but a scenery simulator:rotfl:)

Anyway, I'm not looking to start a flame war here but I'm just glad we have much more logical thinkers on this side! :teacher:

Tread lightly everyone. The very subject is toxic. Everyone has opinions, just keep the tone down please.

They'll calm down eventually. As for me the only main thing I'm really really disappointed about is the lack of Replay option. How could they have missed that is beyond comprehension!

Ive been using it since Tech Alpha 1. I wish some things were better at this point or fixed but we just have to have patience. Patience is a tall order to ask of people these days... I think with time everyone will come around. This is a leap in technology and it's not going to be instantly perfect.

Don't assume that Asobo "missed" anything.. They simply had things to do with higher priority. They've got 10+ years commitment too fleshing this out. I just hope it won't take that long. I'd really like to have fun with this while I'm still above ground! :rotfl:

I'm sticking to the SDK forum - that seems relatively calm. I looked at the open Discord Channels for MSFS and they are a zoo. How anyone can tell what is going on when there are a dozen conversations going all mixed up and new messages are arriving every few seconds

500 to 600 messages overnight is just too much to get any valuable information there. There was a funny post where the guy faked us out, and titled a MSFS is bad rant, but ended up as a funny list of deficiencies.

I'm sticking to the SDK forum -

Lucky guy!!

Well if they stay there then they are not here. - at least I don't think so :)

I wish the mods on the MSFS forums would shut down trolls rather than feeding them with reasoned arguments. Might as well stop an elephant with a pea shooter....

That's what you get for trying to maximize your market appeal by catering to as many people as possible. And since the IQ of the average internet user is in constant decline, well...

It is nice to know that our community here is so well adjusted :)

I think devs are much better behaved in general, since they know how much effort it takes to even export a cube or write a gauge that prints "Hello world!", let alone an entire flight simulator.

It's what they do best Jon: sow Discord (and disharmony, disasters, lots and lots of "dis" stuff!
