• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

Hello

Use ADE 1.55.4805 for Carrasco International Airport (SUMU / MVD)
My problem is that when the aircraft AI landed, stops at the old-short and ATC assigned a parking; disappears !!!.
In the case of aircraft depart no problem. The aircraft leave the gate or ramp, moves to the runway and take off.
Check parking, nodes, lines, and not passing :confused:. Happen with all airlines and AI aircraft. :mad:

The AI are assigned a parking spot when they are still on the runway. The HS is a comfirmation.

You dont' say what size AI planes and what runways. The stock SUMU can give the AI Plane problems for runways 06 and 28. By default MS tried to close some of the taxiways which does not work. Some holdshorts are also missing.
 
If the parking spots are smaller then the AI aircraft's wingspan, then the AI aircraft will disappear after landing.

This is not the problem. The problem is the parking after landing the AI aircraft.

If the parking spots are smaller then the AI aircraft's wingspan, then the AI aircraft will disappear after landing.

I'm not sure with holdshorts - is the maximal distance (around 220 feet) requested only for outgoing AI traffic or could this affect also the incoming one?
 
hold short node limits are for outgoing traffic only, correct. Incoming traffic hold shorts can be placed anywhere along the path from runway to parking - aircraft stop at the first hold short they come to then ignore the rest.

airGUS when your traffic disappears is that after they request taxi instructions and ATC responds with an empty string such as "taxi to gate ." (note the space before the period that was supposed to contain taxi directions)? Or does ATC actually give them a parking spot and taxi directions?
 
This behavior is usually due to the fact that there is no valid route to the parking space assigned, or that there is no parking space open at the airport large enough to hold the aircraft that landed.

I will watch this. The ATC assigned gate or parking and the plane disappears.
