BGL2XML v1.7 - Unknown ID 62 found in airport record - Prepar3d v4

#1
Hi all,

I'm using a batch script with BGL2XML v1.7 to decompile some files in Prepar3d v4, but for one file I'm getting the following message (APX88390.bgl - have tried to attach a copy to this message).
The cmd window is waiting for me to hit a key to conitnue but because my batch is running silently it looks like it's hung.

C:\Windows\system32>cd \
C:\>cd "C:\Users\..\BGL2XML\Bgl2Xml17"
C:\Users\..\BGL2XML\Bgl2Xml17>bgl2xml.exe "C:\Users\..\BGL2XML\BGL\APX88390.bgl" "C:\Users\..\BGL2XML\XML\APX88390.xml" "No"

Unknown ID 62 found in airport record

Press any key to close

(ps I've removed most of the path here to save space)

Obviously I can run the scripts visibly and keep and eye open for the problem but I wondered if there's a fix for it or perhaps a cmd line switch to automatically close the window for me?

Regards

Ian

Id 62 (0x3E) is a new identifier for some P3Dv4 runway records with additional information (see P3Dv4 SDK)
Probably BGL2XML has not yet been updated for extracting these records.

Ah! That sounds promising :)

Does anyone know if there's an update planned for BGL2XML?

Yes, as it happens I will be working on it in a week or so. ADE is updated but I need to fix my other tools.

Sorry not yet. I have been tied up in a lot non ADE related issues. I am currently travelling and will not be back at my development computer until next week
