• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

CS 767 high def vc textures

Good morning,

after 4 days work on the Overhead, I have a little picture out of Photoshop for you:

As you can see, all labels and the most screws are still missing....
 
Awesome! Any idea what you're going to do next? Or are you going to update the 757s from QW and CS too?

Hm... No, I have currently no idea, what i am going to do next... Maybe an updated version of the CS757, but only maybe...

I'm not sure if it is possible, but I would really, really love it if you can consider doing the PMDG MD-11 VC. I still fly it to this day, even in P3D. But the VC textures are not even near today's standards anymore. Just a suggestion ;)
 
I love the MD11, too, but unfortunately I have little problems by runinng the PMDG MD11 in P3D...
But new VC-Textures for the "old Lady" would be a quite good idea! I will consider that, but first of all, I have to talk to PMDG to avoid any problems with the copyright of the vc textures!

Somone did a vc texture upgrade for the PMDG 747 but he had to cancalled it due to permission issue if I remember correctly.
 
Asking permission beforehand is always better than not give them a notice at all and just release it. They already made clear that the MD-11 won't be updated for P3D unlike the 777, 737 and the J41. So I wouldn't be too surprised if they don't mind. Although, it's still PMDG...
 
Unfortunatly I got no answer on my question if i am allowed to modify the PMDG MD-11 VC Textures...
So I don't think that I will do there something
 
Ahh too bad. But it makes sense that you don't start it without authorization from PMDG. I wouldn't do it either ;)
 
Link in post above seems sketchy. Leads to pop up ads and it tries to download an .exe file, not a rar file.
 
The original page has two download links - the green one leads to a third party product. The other leads to the file but there are some potential issues in that some other ads are appearing to get the user to download a Chrome plugin and the final file arrives with an .iso extension. I have checked the file and it doesn't seem to contain any malware. However I would not recommend downloading it in the current configuration and if the poster does not respond (SnuSnu) on this thread in the next few hours I will remove the post.
