Disappearing link

Hi Jon

Just found a very little bug.

If I insert a new vehicle (or other) link between 2 parking links, the connection to the taxiway is disconnected. It all seems to be OK in ADE, but when I select the new apron link it shows a parking link what is off course not connected to a parking place.

After saving and reopening, the link is disappeared.

BTW this was working OK before, ADE changed the link to the taxiway just to an apron link.

I have tried to duplicare your minor bug but vehicle links added properly between parking spots have no effect on any other taxi or apron link that is also attached to the parking spots.

Any additional info would help just in case I am not duplicating your procedure perfectly.

Hi

I just enclosed some images to make it more clear, I hope.

Just inserted a vehicle link between to parking links, image 3 shows what happens after saving and reopening it in ADE.

Thanks Marcel I will check this out.

OK I have replicated this - I will find out what is going on

Can you confirm what I am seeing that this only affects placing a new taxi point in a parking link. When that happens one part of the link (that furthest from the parking space) is lost? That is the problem is adding the taxipoint into a parking link

Hi Jon

Thats what happens. When I'm adding a taxi link inside a parking link, ADE doesn't changed the name of the "new" link into a new apron link. This happens also when you just insert a new taxi point on a parking link. So after saving the link is lost, because it can't be a parking link when it's not connected to a parking place.

I'm quite sure this was working fine before, when I was working on NZAA and created some new vehicle paths between parking links.

Thanks Marcel

The code for inserting links was changed in 0.47 to deal with another problem involving undo/redo. Looks like I have introduced a new bug :o I will find and fix for the next release

This is now fixed. Thanks for reporting it Marcel :)
